FermionX has a dedicated Quality Control team on site. Using our intuitive quality management system and working closely with our production team, we’re able to identify, track and resolve any defects found.

Inspection
We have the flexibility of 3 surface mount production lines to suit a range of product complexities.
We work with all relevant inspection control and quality control tools and processes. These meet and exceed the requirements for J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Traceability
FermionX offers complete traceability of purchased, free issue or in house manufactured materials and products – individually or at batch level visibility. Offering assurances to customers operating in critical environments – e.g. electronic medical devices or military device manufacturing.
Monitoring
Performance is monitored internally on a daily/weekly basis. We have a number of key performance indicators (KPIs) in place across all departments. When thresholds are met or trends acknowledged, action is taken to review areas that are considered to be under-performing or not meeting our expectations.

Our investment in a new software platform supports a fully integrated workflow that spans the whole business. From initial quote and onboarding through to despatch of your final product.
This ensures a more efficient workforce as well as traceability of your project. By utilising the data and information available to us, we’re also able to closely monitor and benchmark our suppliers against customer expectations.

How do you measure your quality control successes?
At FermionX we measure our internal quality control KPIs based on, on time delivery and right first time. (Whether internal rejects or rework). We also monitor customer rejects rates based on percentage of products supplied and complexity of the products.
We’re working on providing customers with live dashboards that will be able to demonstrate production process and fulfilment statistics.
