A message to our partners, colleagues and friends from Chairman of FermionX Ltd, John Patrick.
We recognise this has been an extremely challenging year for everyone and it has impacted not just our work but family, friends, schools and our general sanity. Despite this, I couldn’t be more proud of what we have achieved this year as a business and as an industry.
On behalf of the senior management and shareholders here at FermionX Ltd, thank you. Thank you to our team for their hard work, our partners for their support and patience, our suppliers for their flexibility and understanding.
We truly appreciate your efforts and it shows we have a wonderful team around us.
Moving forward, we are still targeting growth and striving to a turnover of a £10M profitable business which means continued sales and marketing focus and investment across all brands, CEM, Seward and Airbox.
To support this we have already put in place capital investment for new process capacity including Selective Solder system, Vapour Phase reflow oven and an Ersascope inspection system. These systems will be installed and commissioned in January 2021. Until then, our sales team are on hand to explain how these will benefit your production. To read more about our investment, please head over to our website.
Next year we plan to continue our investment by focusing on our people, including training and structuring in core areas.
We have taken on a new HR Manager, starting in January, to implement our training and employee engagement strategy. This all starts with setting the overriding strategy, putting the support structures in place for our people to achieve business growth and to be actively engaged in achieving our company objectives.
This year has proven the importance of family and for our Managing Director, Dan Crothers, that has naturally meant an ever increasing pull back to New Zealand to be closer to his family and he has made the decision to move back home.
There is more that Dan can still offer the company as part of our efforts to achieve our projected growth and reach our company goals. Dan will be moving into a new role growing our export sales for Seward and Airbox products. So he’ll still be very much a part of our team, albeit from the beautiful New Zealand.
There will be a restructure at senior leadership level here effective from 1st January 2021 and we aim to share the org-chart in the coming weeks.
I will be stepping back in as Managing Director to lead the senior management team and we are bolstering our strategic sales support structures across all three of our brands.
The move will be within the next 6 months, so we don’t have to say our goodbyes straight away but I hope you will all join me in wishing Dan and his family the very best of luck and well wishes as they embark on their next adventure together.
Until next time, thanks again for your continued support. Wishing you all the very best for 2021.
